Gloria Victis officially returns on June 17, 2026, this time as a free open-world MMORPG under the publisher gamigo. After the shutdown of the original studio and the removal of the game from Steam, the popular medieval MMO gets a new chance to return to players.
This is a game set in a low-fantasy medieval world, with an emphasis on more realistic combat, territory conquest, and faction conflicts. Players will be able to participate in sieges of cities and castles, build fortifications, trade, craft equipment, and develop their own path through a dynamic society.
Gloria Victis uses an action non-target combat system where positioning, tactics, and skill are more important than classic automatic targeting. A large part of the experience relies on PvP, resource control, and an economy driven by players themselves through gathering materials, crafting, and trading.
Gamigo has confirmed that players who previously played Gloria Victis will have the option to reclaim previously purchased premium skins. After the relaunch, a major update called State of War is also planned, which is expected to further expand the game's content.
