The game combines automation and a warm atmosphere on Mars.

MindEdges and Skystone Games have announced AGRONOM, a new farming automation game that combines the mechanical depth of titles like Satisfactory and Factorio with a warmer, more personal atmosphere inspired by Eastern European tradition.

The game's story is set on Mars in the 22nd century, where the player starts with a piece of lifeless red soil and the goal of building a home full of life. At the heart of the story is the memory of Sofia, the wife of Grandpa Makar, who dreamed of a warm home, gardens, and community.

Players will dig for resources, build structures, plant crops, and create production chains with the help of conveyor belts, robots, greenhouses, and furnaces. However, AGRONOM does not want to be just a cold optimization game. Its world combines futuristic technology with folkloric details, warm colors, painted wood, and the idea that a true home can be created in an impossible place.

As the base grows, players will unlock new parts of Mars, expand production, and develop a settlement where technology and tradition coexist. AGRONOM is currently presented as an intriguing blend of complex automation and cozy atmosphere, with a clear emphasis on building, optimization, and the feeling of home on a foreign planet.
