The first ASUS ROG DDR5 memory kits offer 48GB capacity, RGB lighting, and support for AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles.

ASUS enters the computer memory market with the first ROG DDR5 RGB Edition 20 kits, developed in collaboration with Biwin. This is a special edition of memory marking the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand.

The new kit comes in a configuration of 48GB, consisting of two 24GB DDR5 modules. According to available information, the memory uses SK Hynix M-Die chips and operates at a factory speed of DDR5-6000 with latencies of CL26-36-36-76 and a voltage of 1.45V. AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles are supported, which should facilitate use on current Ryzen and Intel Core platforms.

A special feature of this kit is ROG Mode, an additional profile that is activated on compatible ASUS ROG Crosshair, ROG Maximus, and ROG Strix motherboards. Users can then choose between lower latency at 6000 MT/s and a faster 8000 MT/s profile with latencies of CL36-48-48-110.

The modules have RGB lighting compatible with the Aura Sync system, and ASUS has also announced the ROG Certified Memory Program for certified memory kits from other manufacturers.

ROG DDR5 RGB Edition 20 will first arrive in China at a price of 5,999 yuan. Global availability has not yet been confirmed.
