Sucker Punch no longer plans to add new content to Ghost of Yotei: Legends, the free co-op gameplay mode that was released for the PlayStation 5 version of the game on March 10, 2026.
The studio has confirmed that after the previous updates, it does not plan any further content additions for Legends. The good news for players is that the mode will not be shut down, but will remain online and fully available for all game owners.
Ghost of Yotei: Legends brought a multiplayer experience inspired by the popular Legends mode from Ghost of Tsushima. Players can participate in co-op missions, wave battles against enemies, and challenges designed for multiple players.
Part of the community did not receive the news well as Legends arrived just over two months ago. Many expected longer support, additional missions, or new challenges, especially considering the popularity of a similar mode in the previous game.
Although the development of new content for Legends is stopping, Ghost of Yotei remains one of the most important PlayStation 5 exclusives of the current generation, and the existing multiplayer content remains available at no additional charge.
