MSI has introduced the MAG OLED 271QPX32, a new gaming monitor with a WQHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 320Hz, and a response time of 0.03 ms.
The monitor uses a new 5-layer Penta Tandem OLED panel, which is expected to provide better energy efficiency and a longer lifespan compared to traditional OLED solutions. The screen is protected by DarkArmor Film technology, which increases the surface's scratch resistance from 2H to 3H and further enhances the display of black color.
MSI states that the panel improvements are also aimed at reducing issues characteristic of OLED monitors, such as display uniformity, gray transitions, and loss of detail in dark scenes. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 15000 certifications, and also includes the MSI OLED Care 2.0 system to reduce the risk of burn-in.
Available ports include two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4a, and USB Type-C with support for DisplayPort alternate mode and 15W charging.
The price and release date have not yet been officially announced.
