Nex Playground will hold a free family event, Nex Playground Tennis Smash, from July 1 to 4, 2026, at Wimbledon Park, marking the UK launch of this active gaming system. Although the event is free, interested visitors need to book their 60-minute slot in advance through the official event website. Nex Playground combines screen, movement, and family fun through motion tracking technology, eliminating the need for traditional controllers, allowing children and parents to move, jump, dance, swing, and compete in games that promote physical activity together.
The event will include a 60-minute tennis experience designed for families, a children's introduction to tennis training in a special “centre court” area, and a meet-and-greet with tennis creator Dylan Gee. The organizers also announce a prize draw in which every visitor will be included for a chance to win their own Nex Playground device.
