The publisher Outright Games and the development studio Casual Brothers have officially presented the Hasbro Games Junior Collection, a new collection aimed at younger players and families.
The collection will be released on November 6 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The package includes three well-known board games adapted for children – Monopoly Jr., Clue Jr., and The Game of Life Jr..
In Monopoly Jr., players will buy properties, collect money, and try to be the last remaining player. Clue Jr. offers a simpler version of the popular detective game where you will gather clues, eliminate suspects, and try to solve the case first. The third title, The Game of Life Jr., takes players through a colorful life adventure where the goal is to collect stars and progress towards victory.
All three games can be played solo or in local multiplayer for up to four players on the same console, making them an ideal choice for family gatherings or playing together with friends.
The collection will also feature a system for creating your own avatar with numerous customization options, and playing will unlock new cosmetic rewards and additional personalization elements.
Although such collections are not aimed at the most demanding players, the Hasbro Games Junior Collection could be a very good choice for parents who want to introduce their children to the classics of board games in digital form. Simple rules, colorful visuals, and local multiplayer make it a title that could find its place at many family game night gatherings.
