EA has released a new FC 26 Feedback Update in which they reveal a series of changes based on player feedback. In December, a change will be implemented that will make goalkeeper movement less effective, aiming for better balance between shots and defense. The effectiveness of AI marking at the edge of the penalty area has been reduced to encourage players to defend more actively. The recently unintentionally slowed Controlled Sprint Dribbling has been reverted to its previous state following community reactions, while CPU AI in offline mode has already been improved with faster decision-making, better dribbling, and improved defensive player switching. An improvement in AI behavior in Squad Battles mode is planned for early 2026, to hold the ball less and move forward more quickly.
