Shuhei Yoshida, a long-time leader in game development and head of independent development at PlayStation, announced his departure from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) effective January 15, 2025. Yoshida contributed to the development of some of the earliest PlayStation hits, including Crash Bandicoot: Warped and The Legend of Dragoon. Over the years, he moved into leadership roles, becoming president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, now known as PlayStation Studios.
