The trial version is available through Steam and can be played until January 19, allowing players to try out the content and improvements introduced in Season 5, including additional activities, gameplay, and technical enhancements. This opportunity is particularly interesting considering that Solar Crown did not meet expectations upon release. The PC version of the game received a modest score of 53 on Metacritic, while user reviews on Steam were mostly negative, primarily due to technical issues and lack of content. Along with the free trial, the game is currently available at a significantly reduced price. Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is discounted by 60% on Steam, which could encourage players to give the game a second chance after trying it out.
