After a long wait, Fortnite is back on Android devices via the Google Play Store as of today, meaning users can now download, sign in and start playing right away on their mobile devices. As a reminder, Fortnite was removed from mobile platforms for years due to conflicts with app stores, and only returned to Apple's App Store in 2025. Now the return to Android is finally complete. With this move, Epic Games ends another chapter in the long-term battle with major technology platforms and reopens the door to mobile gamers around the world.
