Ryu Ga Gotoku and Sega have released a new video for the upcoming action-adventure title Stranger Than Heaven. This time we got a glimpse of violent combat through three time periods.
Stranger Than Heaven is set in Japan during five different periods (from 1915 to 1965) and in five different cities (Kokura, Kure, Minami, Atami, and Shinjuku). The game follows the character Makoto Daito, an orphan of Japanese-American descent who hides on a ship from San Francisco to Japan in search of a better life. We will also learn about the roots of the yakuza organization Tojo Clan, which appeared in the Like a Dragon series, and its founder is none other than Daito.
In the game, we will also see some familiar faces such as rappers Snoop Dogg and 2Pac, singer Tori Kelly, actor Bunta Sugawara, and many others.
Stranger Than Heaven is set to release on January 15, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S.
