Kynseed is coming to consoles on August 4, 2026. PixelCount Studios has confirmed that their sandbox RPG with life simulation will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game was previously available on PC, where it received a full release after its Early Access phase at the end of 2022. Kynseed stands out with the idea of family legacy, as players not only follow one character but generations that continue life in the world of Quilla. Along with farming, exploration, combat, running a business, and relationships with NPC characters, the PC version also received a free Tavern update that allows players to run their own inn.
Rocket Panda Games, Shatter Flask Games, and Acttil have announced Cresata, an action platformer from a side perspective that was previously known as Revenant’s Reach. The game is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam in 2027, with a Kickstarter campaign expected to launch at the end of 2026. Cresata draws inspiration from classics like Strider and Castlevania, as well as more modern retro platformers like Celeste. The focus is on fast combat, dashing, deflecting attacks, grappling mechanics, and a combination of 2D pixel-art characters with 3D environments. The cast includes Ben Starr and Aleks Le, which further raises interest in the project.
NEOWIZ will publish Wind Up Deadman, a retro pixel-art CRPG from the South Korean studio SaneNuts Studio. The game has been announced for PC via Steam and is set in a so-called “cassette futuristic” world where survivors of a bio-catastrophe live in a lonely tower in the middle of a desert and use cassettes to preserve memories. Players take on the role of Zephyr, an archive runner who entrusts his soul to a robot while trying to find lost memories. It is particularly interesting that erased, inserted, and reinterpreted memories affect the story and shape Zephyr's personality.
Muv-Luv: Tactics – Kalidasa at Nightmare will be released in 2027 for PC via Steam. This is a tactical RPG from publisher aNCHOR and developer fuzz, set in the well-known Muv-Luv world, but the creators emphasize that prior knowledge of the series is not necessary. Players will lead UN forces in battles against the alien threat BETA, with turn-based combat, recruiting pilots, customizing Tactical Surface Fighter units, and making decisions that can determine the fate of subordinates. A new trailer further showcased the atmosphere, strategy, and a more serious tone of the game.

This is a colorful anime RPG with themes of magic and administration, set in a fantasy version of Tokyo. The latest trailer showcases characters, combat, menus, and the game world, while special attention is given to the idea that the magical world is not only governed by wizards but also by ordinary clerks. One such character is Shunin, a civil servant responsible for the administration of the magical world.
Fakutori is a new casual automation game from developer Antoine Latour and publisher Mythwright, planned for Steam in 2026. Players start with the four classical elements: earth, fire, water, and air, which they then combine to discover increasingly complex materials. The game will feature over 100 elements, and the uniqueness lies in the fact that some blocks are not revealed just by combining but also by experimenting with their behavior. Machines, conveyor belts, programmable pushers, and combiners will allow the construction of increasingly complex factories, while Legendary Blocks serve as a special long-term goal.
